Built as a winery in the 20th century

Crafted in 1914, the Huashan 1914 Creative Park began its life as factories for sake and camphor.

Over years, what started as a site for manufacturing transformed into an abandoned relic.

In 1997, artists advocated for the district to be transformed into an art center. This eventually led to the rejuvenation of these historical structures into a vibrant cultural hub.

The shift from production premises to creative spaces tells you a lot about Taipei’s innovative and creative spirit.
