11 Cute Cafes in Taipei That You Need To Visit

Sipping on a delicious coffee in a cute cafe in a new country, watching the world go by. Is there anything better than this?

Luckily, Taipei is home to many cafes. However, with so many choices, it can be hard to know where to go.

I’ve personally visited lots and lots of cute cafes in Taipei and created this list to show you which cafes are definitely worth exploring!

11 Cute cafes in Taipei worth visiting

Taipei is home to lots of things to do, however it also has a thriving cafe scene. There are lots of lovely cafes here, so it can be hard to choose which one to visit. Here are some cafes that are definitely worth visiting: 

1. Curista 

If you love minimalistic design, then you have to go here. Curista is a really modern cafe with great service and delicious coffee. If you want to try something else, consider getting their pour over coffee or one of their oolong coffee lattes.

They also have plant-based milk such as oat milk available. This cafe is definitely worth visiting because of its clean aesthetic.

2. 蕨咖啡

蕨咖啡 is a flower store and cafe in one. This concept is already amazing. It’s one of the cute cafes in Taipei that you should definitely visit.

They even have a very friendly dog. The lovely dog makes the cafe even more worth visiting. It’s good to know that they also have oat milk if you’re looking for plant based milk.

There’s a small space upstairs where you can sit. I recommend getting their oat milk latte with chocolate flavor.

3. Vino Vino

In the trendy Daan district there’s a really nice cafe called Vino Vino. It’s especially worth visiting because of its views upstairs.

It’s one of those places where you can just sit and watch the world go by. They have home made plum wine, but also coffees and even pastas. Prices are pretty reasonable.

4. 肉桂樹 The Cinnamon Tree 師大店 – 美式肉桂捲專門店

Another cute cafe in Taipei is called The Cinnamon Tree. It’s also located in the Daan district. In this district, you’ll find lots of students and some amazing cafes.

For a good coffee and a delicious sticky cinnamon roll, head over to this cafe.

5. 傳送咖啡TeleportCafe

Another great place to grab coffee in trendy and youthful Daan district is 傳送咖啡TeleportCafe. It’s more like a small takeout place, however they serve very affordable coffees and delicious toast.

What’s even better is that it’s only a fifteen minute walk from the lush Daan Forest Park. Grab a coffee and a sandwich here and then make your way to this large park in Taipei.

6. About Islander Cafe

One of my favorite cute cafes in Taipei is definitely About Islander Cafe. It’s located in a more local area and is filled with plants. They serve home made scones, coffees, vegan cheesecake and more. They also have rice dishes.

I can highly recommend the rose oat milk tea and the pour over coffee. The owner is kind and pays a lot of attention to details. If you can only visit one cafe in Taipei, make it this one.

7. Notch咖啡 高等法院店

One of the most underrated cafes in Taipei is definitely Notch咖啡 高等法院店. It’s a bit hidden, but really worth visiting if you like a peaceful place to just sit and relax.

They have comfy chairs, nice coffees (with oat milk available) and delicious sandwiches. Compared to other places, the kind of food here is very affordable. 

Besides, the owner is very friendly. It’s hardly been discovered, so if you like these kind of places, then definitely visit.

8. 春希 chunxi

Another wonderful cafe in Taipei is called 春希 chunxi. It’s located in a nice area and is especially a great place if you’re craving some (oat) milk coffee or a tasty sandwich.

The wooden interior and the plants with the lights outside make it a cosy place to sit. Their hazelnut oat milk latte feels like a warm hug inside a cup. I also highly recommend trying the sandwich with salmon and truffle sauce.

9. Konzy Kava

Konzy Kava is a nice cafe with upstairs and downstairs seating areas. You can work on your laptop here if you want to.

However, do keep in mind that the maximum duration of stay is 2 hours. They serve delicious coffees and oat milk is available. I also highly recommend trying their cinnamon roll.

Another great cafe in Taipei which is a bit hidden is called CAFE RACO. It’s especially a good place to visit if you’re looking for a spacious cafe.

The atmosphere is relaxed and you can bring your own laptop if you want to do some working or studying here. They have comfy sofas and chairs, which is ideal for spending a few hours here. 

For a comfy, spacious cafe where you can do some studying or working, head over to CAFE RACO.

11. Tadpole Point Cafe 尖蚪

For a unique cafe in Taipei, head over to the Tadpole Point Cafe 尖蚪. This is located in the underrated Treasure Hill Artist Village. They serve delicious food and refreshing drinks and the cafe has a very good atmosphere.

If you look around here, you’ll find that lots of art accompanies you. Especially the upstairs area is a cosy place to sit.

In conclusion

Taipei is home to many great cafes, however the ones listed above are definitely worth visiting. They’re cute and serve delicious coffees. A lot of them even have plant-based milk available. And in some of them you can even bring your laptop.

Don’t forget to visit some of these lovely cafes while you’re visiting the capital city of Taiwan!
